In case you're stupid, Other Star People is Jennifer Finch's new band. And, in case you're real stupid, Jennifer Finch was the original bassist in L7. Only, now her name is Precious. So, shut the fuck up. If you're a hardcore L7 fan - the kind who enjoys a sore neck after having indulged in their musical psyche for hours upon hours while driving down the motorway and

becoming the sole reason for other earth people's road rage - then you'll hate Other Star People. I on the other hand love both worlds. Early L7 records were the best, and those records are all but gone.
OSP is a pop and fancy rock band for all the wrong reasons, and we like it that way. Precious Jen is playing guitar and is co-lead singer on the band's debut 'Diamonds In The Belly of The Dog'. This CD sounds, tastes, smells, and feels like an extended acid and cocaine binge. It plays like one long, glamorous sexy new wave snotty-ass mesmerizing rock opera. The lyrics alone - even if you're sober at first listen - will make you feel just a little fucked up and light headed. The music though makes you feel like fucking somebody you don't even know.
The Band: j. precious finch-guitar, vox / xander smith-guitar, vox / todd philips-drums / junko ito-bass
