Hey, what the fuck...I thought Exene's band was punk snot rock. I could swear I saw this band in LA one night and they were total punk and shit. Oh wait, I think that was Auntie Christ. Nevermind.

Well, the big ol' honky tonk sound of Original Sinners is okay by me. Kinda hillbilly punk maybe. In yer face rhythm and clever lyrics like only Exene can write ("I was wearin' my best Freudian slip"). I think this is the style of music that fits her voice best. I love the lazy, kinda sexy drawl she breathes into my ear when she sings about Budweiser crowns and finger-paintin' flowers with sugar and gunpowder.
